I just finished reading all of the current shorts posted on the Weekly Challenge and Wow! Great reads! If you haven't read them, do yourself a favor and check 'em out!
The Weekly Challenge with different "mystery ingredients" reminds me of the TV show "Chopped" on the Food Network. 4 chefs get the same ingredients and it's up to the chef and their individual culinary skills to outcook their competitors for a $10,000 prize. There may not be a monetary prize here (yet), but we get the same opportunity to take different elements and weave them together with our literary talents into a tale for the world to experience. I've been blessed to read these shorts and to see first hand the depth of skill that is represented here. Truly, my hat is off to you writers. Thank you for letting me catch a glimpse into who you are.
On another note, I hope you're liking this new blog format. It takes quite a while to set up each new blog but once it is set up, adding new stories to it won't take near as long. Plus, each of your stories will be cataloged under your blog page for easy access by readers. Next I want to add an Amazon.com link to whatever book you want to promote on your blog, so please send me what book(s) you want me to add.
Thank you for participating! Please keep up the amazing work! You're an inspiring group!
